Our Founder

Achappa P.B. popularly known as Ajith Achappa, hails from a humble rural background and after completing his Pre-university at Cauvery College, Gonicoppa, Kodagu District, Karnataka, dedicated his life to his vision of giving back to the society. He pursued his legal studies from Visveswarapura College of Law, Bangalore and enrolled as an Advocate at the Bar Council of Karnataka in 2003. He thereafter commenced his legal practice in the office of Advocate P.B. Appaiah. Thereafter, he got associated with Poovayya & Co and worked closely with Senior Counsel Mr. Sajan Poovayya.

Having gained experience in Civil, Corporate, Real-Estate and Criminal law/s, across Trial Court,Family Court, Consumer Forums, Arbitration Tribunals, High Courts and Supreme Court of India, he founded NDA Partners Advocates in the year 2014 and thereafter in the year 2019 got appointed as Additional Government Advocate, Government of Karnataka and served in the said capacity till 2021. He established Ajith Achappa & Co Advocates (AA & Co Advocates) on 1st January, 2020. He has worked in varied areas of law, including but not limited to law dealing with property, banking, company, information technology, environmental, contracts, negotiable instruments, transfer of property, arbitration, matrimonial law/s and local laws such as The Karnataka Protection of Interests of Depositors in Financial Establishments, Karnataka Land Revenue and Acquisition and allied law/s. He has been empaneled with BDA, KHB, GTTC, KVTSDC, HDFC Bank, Zilla Panchayat/s etc.

In his illustrious career of over 18 years, he has appeared in several landmark cases including the winding up of the Kingfisher Airlines case, Cinema Copyright case - Abhinetri infamously known as Pooja Gandhi’s case etc.,

Apart from his professional interests, he spends quality time with family and friends, enjoys traveling, reading philosophical and motivational books and occasionally indulges in farming.
